Who
we are
Bayou Spirit Ventures was founded by Mia Stanford — a hospitality professional with over 20 years of experience in beverage sales, brand development, and event strategy. Born in Texas, rooted in Louisiana, and shaped by two decades in the industry, Mia brings a rare blend of big-market expertise and hometown heart to everything she does.
After spending 15 years leading sales and distribution strategy in Houston, Mia returned to Acadiana to build something that felt personal: a business grounded in community, culture, and creative expression. What began as pop-ups and curated cocktail experiences has grown into a full-service event and consulting brand serving clients across the Gulf South.
Today, Bayou Spirit Ventures supports projects ranging from wedding coordination and private classes to beverage program development, brand consulting, and bartender education — always with Southern polish, thoughtful detail, and a little edge.
